At the age of 15 I auditioned for Dance Studio Scotland where I trained for three years. During my time at college I trained in many disciplines including, ballet, tap, modern/ jazz, various contemporary styles, hip hop & street and drama.. I graduated my HND year 1 with an A. After leaving college I went straight into full time employment with South Lanarkshire Council as “Head dance coach” & I worked all over south Lanarkshire for a year teaching different dance programmes for ages 2-60+. I am now working for Glasgow City Council as a dance coach working on curriculum based projects in primary & high schools. I am an associate member of the BATD, UDO Academy & BGU. I started The Dance Academy & opened the studio the week before lockdown, can’t wait to re-open & see all our dancers new and current! xxxx
